Manufacturing Expert Clark Carlile Joins Leading2Lean as VP of Sales and Business Development

SPARKS, NEVADA– Sept. 26, 2018 –Leading2Lean today announced that Clark Carlile has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Clark brings decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing, as well as providing manufacturing solutions to customers.

“My goal in this new role is to communicate how Leading2Lean is serving customers in a way that no other player in our industry is doing,” Carlile said. “I always strive to practice continuous improvement in how we support our customers and how we bring value to them.”

To say Carlile is an expert in sales and manufacturing is an understatement. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, he started his career at Boeing as a Flight Deck Engineer where he helped design and structure the Boeing 777, the world’s largest twinjet, and one of Boeing’s flagship aircrafts. After five years at Boeing, he transitioned to airbag manufacturer Morton International, later acquired by Autoliv, where he was directly involved in their transformation from traditional to lean manufacturing. His passion for manufacturing was evident as he progressed from applications engineering, to capital equipment acquisitions, to operations management and rounding out his career managing a critical start up in Mexico and driving standardization adoption for key airbag connectivity components in other facilities worldwide.

Carlile then applied his passion to achieving several years of high growth for a manufacturing automation solution provider, leading to a successful acquisition.

As VP of Sales and Business Development, Carlile will oversee relationship management of Leading2Lean’s current customer base, as well as helping to expand to new markets. He will also work to support customers in reaching their goals, and to ensure that real-time data and analytics are helping customers make better decisions, resulting in increased profitability.

“My experience in manufacturing and management allows me to speak the same language as maintenance managers and plant floor employees, while understanding the needs of executives who are working to improve operations,” Carlile said.
